Ard na Mara is situated at the northwest coast of Scotland in Achriesgill, at Loch Inchard. Embedded in gentle hills you can enjoy the spectacular scenic surroundings, wild highlands, but also green coasts, islands and the sea. A panorama you can look at for hours.
The name »Ard na Mara« comes from the Gaelic language, it means »high above the sea«. This house brings honour to it‘s name, through nearly every window you can get a view of the sea.
No matter if you are sitting at a window with a cup of tea enjoying the panorama or next to the fireplace reading a book, the flair of Ard na Mara will bewitch you immediately.
Ard na Mara was lovingly restored in the 1930’s style with many original features adding to it’s delightful charm and character, the specially commissioned surround of the magnificent lounge fireplace adds a Celtic touch. A new modern extremely well-equipped kitchen and an oil-fired central heating was installed. With three bedrooms Ard na Mara is a perfect home for up to eight persons.
In the living and dining room, as well as in the upper bedrooms are open fireplaces. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, colour television with SKY, video, DVD player, CD player, telephone are also part of the house equipment. Cot and high chair available.
On the ground floor there are one double bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and shower room.
The bathroom as well as the other two bedrooms are upstairs, one family room with a double bed and a single bed with pull-out guest bed and one double bedroom.
